Tirta Gangga is a very instagenic park with pools that have a unique traditional design, located in eastern Bali, Indonesia, about 5 kilometres from Karangasem, near Abang.
The name “Tirta Gangga” literally means “water from the Ganges” It was built by the last king of Karangasem Regency in 1948 and is now open to the public. It features a labyrinth of pools, ponds, and fountains surrounded by neatly cut lawns adorned with lush gardens, stone carvings, and ornate statues. This park is pretty massive, so give yourself some time to relax and stroll around.
You can easily feed the fish in the pond around the garden. You only need to buy fish food from the vendor in front of the garden, and cute fish are waiting for you there.

HOW TO GET THERE
Getting to TIRTA GANGGA WATER PALACE #1 Hire a driver + car pretty popular for day trips around Bali, and cost start at around 500,000 IDR per day (8 hours). you can combine a visit to Tirta Gangga with Lempuyang Temple best known as Bali Gate of Heaven

TIRTA GANGGA what to expect?
BE WARNED: there are many tourists who are so obsessed with their instaworthy SOLO photos, its crazy how illogical and rude some of them are. They expect you to rush off so they can be with their friends and take photos, or shoo you away while you are also taking a photo. Then you ask them to share the stepping stones and cross over – many cannot.
The tourists think they are the only ones visiting there and allowed the picture perfect space.
It is a nice place, there’s also a pool to cool off with change areas ( access is included with the ticket) . the pool is kinda greenish, but I saw people swimming in.
There is also another man made lake beside the stepping stone pond where people can take a little boat to float away troubles.
Overall, it is an interesting complex that’s a water park for people to literally try to cool off from the Bali Sun.
The ornamental carvings are interesting once you get to finish taking your photos at the stepping stone pond, where the Koi’s are so FAT (looks bigger than a new born child!)
I think spending 2 -3 hours here to include people watching after the struggle to take a memorable photo.
